Advisory Committee
The Sonoma Valley Groundwater Sustainability Agency (GSA) Advisory Committee typically meets at 3 p.m. on the second Tuesday of every month at the Valley of the Moon Water District board room, 19039 Bay Street, Sonoma.

The advisory committee is comprised of community members with diverse perspectives on beneficial groundwater use, including representatives from agriculture, the environmental community, the business community and rural residential well users. The committee’s purpose is to provide input and recommendations to the Board of Directors on groundwater sustainability plan development, implementation and policies.
Terms will be two-years (after initial staggered terms), and interested individuals can apply to participate by contacting the GSA administrator. For more information on current Advisory Committee members, click here.

As reflected above, each Member Agency appointed a representative to the Advisory Committee, for a total of six members. In addition, the Board appointed six interest-based members to represent environmental, rural residential well-users, agricultural or the business community.
